After all the shit that happened with Punk he'd be stupid to. But then again he put the title on Swerve in the first place so he's obviously not too clever or forward thinking. Darby is an AEW lifer, give him the actual last Danielson match.

They should just have him win both belts and unify them. Do a hard reset of everything, close all the current programmes and change creative team completely.
But this is aew where Tony announces he will unify belts because he thinks that that means having a guy win both belts and then lose them separately.
