I give props to British Bulldog and Jim Neidhart for separating themselves from Bret Hart after their WCW runs only lasted for one year.
Why did they and Diana & Ellie have a falling out with Bret? It's because Bret never truly cared about anyone only himself, whereas Owen was more than happy to work with Bulldog and Neidhart, bring them back to the WWF and help put money and food on the table for them.
And even after Owen died, only Bulldog came back to the WWF while Neidhart didn't but was given a scouting role instead. It's understandable why Bulldog, Neidhart, Diana and Ellie sided with Vince McMahon against Martha and Bret, it's because Bulldog and Neidhart's WCW runs didn't work out, and they wanted back in WWF, despite Bret being pissy.
