As a fan of ZSJ (though his wrestling style can become a bit faggy and excessive that's usually only when he wrestles stateside in GAYEW), absolutely grim. He's not that guy, they know he's not that guy, hence why they depushed his title challenge to KOPW.
He should not under any circumstance walk into the Dome as IWGP Champ, that would be a death knell for the belt.

I would agree if there was a new, young guy built up with a long term dynamic against him, but there isn't
Naito and ZSJ have a dynamic but do you really want Naicripple to lost then win it back at the Dome? If you want it to be about the challenger the challenger has to be someone very new and very fresh to warrant such a blatant transitional run on a B-Tier guy, it has to be a legit coronation and they have nobody lined up for that.

It'll be a young guy and there won't be a long-term dynamic between he and ZSJ, not yet anyway.
However, Shota does have a win on Zack that Zack hasn't got back. And Tsuji is also building history with him, through the G1 final.

Submission and grappling spots with guys like Benoit and Angle were my favourite growing up. But zack just makes it look kind of fake and a bit faggy. You could say he's at Jay's level at best, but with lower highs.

His promos and 'humuor' are unfunny and not interesting.

I do respect him for not cutting his dick off and bulking up a bit so good for his fans I guess
