I have no loyalty to any wrestling promotion today. I like pro wrestling. I call out shitty wrestling where I see it. And the Bucks are the worst "wrestlers" on a promotion with a national television deal.
The best wrestlers = look believable in everything they do.
The worst wrestlers = nothing they do looks believable
It's that simple. There is room for ALL styles of pro wrestling, but it has to look believable. Rey Mysterio is a perfect example of a small, agile guy that does a lot of flips but he knows how to get the crowd to buy in and believe in what he's doing. I'm a big fan of his (at least in his prime). I also enjoy the more outlandish gimmicks when they are performed well and make logical sense, for example I loved Matt Bourne's Doink, the original incarnation of Goldust, and the original Mankind.
There's room for all styles in wrestling, but you still need to work to convince fans to suspect their disbelief and buy into what's occuring as though it were legit, which is called "verisimilitude" and is important in EVERY performance including television, film, and theater.
The problem with the Bucks is that they are fake as shit and don't care. They act as though they're being "ironic," but that's just a cover. They suck. They don't understand what pro wrestling is. And neither do their retarded fans.
