I actually sent in a job application when the Smackdown Lead Writer job was open a couple of years. Sure I've never in the television but I can write technical manuals that are simple enough for third worlders to understand. If those retards can understand the shit I had to go to college to learn, I feel like I could've written a show that was simple enough for a wrestling to understand.

I almost got a job there as a copywriter. I had three rounds of interviews, all over phone/video call. During the third round, they said that the next step would be for them to fly me out to Connecticut, stay in the writer's dorms/apartments, and that one of the interviewers would be HHH. (THey used his real name, ofc.) Sadly, I didn't make it any further than that third round.
