Any time I watch a fight scene in a movie, read it in a manga/comic I always think how much better the fight could of been if it had the psychology of a wrestling match. Why cant actors or choreographers work basic psychology into their fights scenes? I can never tell who's supposed to be "winning" these fights because of the zero selling and lack of back-and-forth.
Other media treats Fight scenes like crappy musicals treat their singing scenes, zero relevance to the plot or story substance. Completely skippable. While in Wresting the plot can develop during "fight scenes" or outside of them.
