AEW couldn't keep the smark markets in the US, what made Tony think that he could do it with the smark market of London? Who's feeding the poor guy lies? Is it a massive rib by wrestlers?

I'd say they actually did keep most of the smarks, there's just way less of them than you think and they're less likely to hype the product and watch every show now that the honeymoon period is over and they recognize some of the long term shortcomings. There was a moment when smarks were not embarassed to tell their normie friends hey check out this new wrestling show but that moment has passed.

It's a damn shame, AEW can't fill up half an arena in a smark market while half of WWE's shows are at full capacity now

The entire history of aew has been a vanity project where tony puts out some deranged, narcissistic product and if anyone says any part of the show was bad then he has an extreme autism backfire effect and does more of whatever was called bad because he can do no wrong. It's degenerated into him thinking that everyone loves aew more and more and the increasing criticism and decreasing audience are actually just lies from WWE bots.
