>>15576586>zero struggleYou’re right and this is an often overlooked part of the psychology of a match. If you want to get an idea of what a struggle is supposed to look like in a wrestling match, go watch some WCW tag team matches from late 1996 through 1997. Steiners/Harlem Heat/Fire and Ice/Faces of Fear/Sting and Luger/Outsiders/Mongo and Benoit. Mostly all of these matches looked like a struggle for one team to win over the other. And some may laugh when I mention Fire and Ice or Mongo and Benoit. And if you’re one of those faggots laughing go watch those two teams against the Steiners. It wasn’t always pretty but it looked like these teams beat the shit out of each other and had to pull out all stops to get a 3 count. Hell, I think one match between the Steiners and Mongo and Benoit ended before it did because Rick Steiner legit knocked out Mongo with a suplex or Steinerline. Mongo was KO’d and forgot to kick out. The matches felt more authentic back then.
