Hard to have a clearer representation of the dichotomy between the two companies than this.

Roman vs. Cody was basically entirely built around the entrance pops and the interference.
Swerve vs. Danielson was built around blood and selling and the stakes of the stipulation with one small run-in spot to briefly shift the balance of the match. Besides that it was entirely the two guys in the ring and the story between them.

And both fanbases ate both matches up with a spoon.
