It's never anything crazy, just simple stuff like not being able to hit a move, being able to function better as a team than their opponents, or being punished for showboating.
Most fans don't know what ring psychology is, but if you go to any decent wrestling school this is all they teach you. WWE is really big on it that most fans don't even realize it. It's usually something simple like working a body part.
The Bucks do "nudge wink" bullshit a lot and their spots are so over choreographed sometimes it takes me out, but they structure their matches well.
Ricochet doesn't even really do that. He hits his shine of moving really quickly and maybe doing a flip or two. Gets cut off and beaten up for a majority of the match. Makes his comeback, does a big flip or gets caught doing a flip and hit with his opponents move. Every single match ive seen of his has followed this formula. Some of the spots are impressive and look great out of context, but the entire match is boring.
Mike Bailey has the same problem. Except he does the exact same spots in every single match, whether it makes sense for his opponents or not.
Sorry for sperging, I'm bored at work and think Ricochet is the biggest geek in wrestling.
