Hogan was a cultural icon in the 80s. Was still over as hell in the 90s and 2000s and just appeared at a presidential convention.

Austin was popular for 3 years.

I cannot imagine unironically saying Austin. He was the best performer of all the top tier main event guys and had a huge peak but has little cross-generational popularity and wasn't in any movies people remember. Old people know Hogan and young people know Hogan. Austin doesn't clear Rock or even Cena in star power

I know Hulkster was in some films but the only ones I remember is being "himself" for 5 minutes in Rocky 2 and being himself for 1 minute in Gremlins 2

im not gonna say austin but i remember austin in movies more than hogan. hogan was just thunderlips for 5 minutes where as austin played that prison guard and called nelly nigger
