I think the part you're missing is that 9 out of 10 names who sign with WWE aren't really that sought after. More to the point most of them over the past year are names cut from AEW to begin with. Who is there likely to be a bidding war over? Okada, Mercedes, Ospreay, and Mariah? Or Ethan Page, Jade Cargill, Shawn Spears, and Lexis King?
