It's a WWE problem they mitigate with LED ads, apron ads and other monetization along with TVPG rating. AEW mitigates with DraftKings billboards and picture in picture ads, but TV14 has consequences. UFC, Boxing and other "TV14" fight programming has ads splashed everywhere.
AEW's rating/ranking every wednesday must necessarily take all of this into account for everything other than bragging rights. There is no requirement that marketing firms must spend exactly 1/7th of their budget on Wednesdays, so if there's no show that meets their requirements, they will simply skip that night, lowering demand and dragging down ad rates for everyone.
