Friday has far more competition. What do you think most people do on Fridays? You go home, you eat a meal, you watch some TV, and you go to bed. Networks know this and there’s a ton of stuff on TV to try and get your attention. Wednesdays are a dead zone; famously people don’t put new shows on Wednesday unless they want them to die.
