Tony is a billionaire and wants to bring wrestler salaries up to a pro athlete level.
Wrestling is harder on the athlete's body than any sport aside from boxing and MMA, and arguably harder given the lengths of their careers and the fact that punishment is guaranteed every time they step into the ring no matter how well they perform.
His family owns two professional sports franchises -- he is quite literally trying to make wrestling a respectable profession in a way Vince (and now the TKO jews) really do not want him to do. Just look at how UFC treats its atrhletes, their average pay, the percentage of revenue they share compared to other sports, and you'll see that the TKO jews are absolutely going to be enraged by Tony continuously raising everyone's price tag.
But in the end, it's a good thing for wrestling.
