>>15729624It depends on what AEW is putting into their contracts. WWE can bar contractors from taking outside work because it could puts their physical safety at risk, jeopardizing their WWE commitments. We don't know what AEW contracts look like because Tony forces all his employees to sign NDAs that cover nearly everything.
>>15729735According to their text/stories, every other time their flights were arranged, it was from the closer airport. ONE time they were asked to go to another airport it was to save AEW money to fly into Canada
>They were given travel, reaffirmed of that travel when they asked and told why to which they fought back and then got ignoredThey asked WELL in advance that things be changed and the matter was not followed-up on by those in charge
>>15729829If Tates' case makes it to court, there will be a discussion about how much of their travel they are expected to cover - and if they should have needed to pay for their own travel to an airport 3 hours away. One-way rental fees can be $150-200+, one-way Uber/Taxi even more. If AEW argues they should have been able to at minimum float the money, or the Tates argue it was unreasonable to ask them to float such a large percentage of their weekly pay, then their wage will be involved. Because AEW flies so many performers from different parts of the country, the court might be interested to know WHO has been reimbursed, and in what amounts, for travel expenses. To figure out the formulas, they will need to know what those performers make yearly. Has any other AEW/ROH performer been fined/disciplined for missing their travel arrangements? Etc.
I don't think we'll be finding out Lexi Nair's bra size or anything, but salary vs travel expenses is relevant here. All the people saying "Just drive the 3 hours to the airport!" are missing the point, they can't just park there for 72 hours for free. Stuff costs money. It's easier to get a friend to drop you off at the in-town airport for FREE
