How is a steel cage match unsanctioned? You have to bring the cage to the arena and lower it for the match

Pretty sure “lights out” it shorthand for main event, as they do the announcer gimmick of ‘show is over so the last match is not included’
Basically Bryan/Perry is not ending the show

Lights Out means that in kayfabe, the show ends, lights go off for a second, and then they start the match “unofficially”. This means they can be extra violent and not bound by company safety rules.

AEW cages are the same but taller, and no stupid escape door
