I know Ricochet was never going to go much higher up the card in WWE than he already was but to me this move just doesn't seem like one made with a lot of brainpower behind it. And, yes, I am aware Ricochet is fucking stupid, I'm just saying it out loud.
He got to travel with his wife, he was on TV most weeks, he was pushed hard on Speed (which, sure, I don't fucking care, but someone does since it apparently does them social media numbers)...
I mean, is TK offering him a million-dollar contract or something? Because why in fuck's name would he hop ship to AEW? In WWE he was probably never going to main event, but he was the only guy there who could move like that. In AEW, he's probably never going to main event BECAUSE he's one of ten thousand guys who can move like that.
As long as he's happy and gets to pork Sam up the butthole, I guess.
