Yes, for bigger events turnstile does not always equal turnstile due to secondary market, BECAUSE SCALPERS DON'T ALWAYS SELL ALL THE TICKETS THEY BOUGHT.
Dave is somehow trying to sneak in the idea that people who bought on the secondary market still go but didn't pass through the turnstile which makes zero sense. WHY WOULD YOU NOT GO THROUGH THE TURNSTILE IF YOU BOUGHT A SCALPED TICKET?
Then he tries to muddy the waters with the idea of 'paid attendance'. FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHO RECEIVE FREE TICKETS MIGHT HAVE A BACKSTAGE PASS BUT IF THEY HAVE SEATS THEY STILL GO THROUGH THE TURNSTILE SO YOU CAN'T COUNT PAID ATTENDANCE BY TURNSTILE. THEY ALSO GAVE AWAY FREE TICKETS TO THE SHOW FOR BLUE CARD OWNERS AND OTHERS AND THOSE PEOPLE WENT THROUGH THE TURNSTILE.
Dave is also trying to throw in the fact that people hanging out backstage like the family of top stars and athletes or celebrities, business people, etc. if there were any, might come in through the back and not the turnstile THEY ARE NOT PAID ATTENDANCE, THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT VINCE AND OTHERS COUNTED TO INFLATE TOTAL ATTENDANCE, NOT PAID ATTENDANCE.
