Sure Clash of the Champions had the higher highs when it came to matches, but also had terrible production values for most of its run, and really felt low quality. SNME was also more fun and built around angles and promos with only a few matches.
Unfortunately, I can't say I have much hope for a reboot of SNME in 2024. WWE already runs several B PLEs and they are typically dire. The only factor that gives me some hope is that the time slot should be short, and therefore they won't be able to cram it full of garbage just to pad it out, which seems to be Triple H's plan on most of his events. On the other hand, it's WWE in 2024, which means a good half of the show will be filled with womemes slop and cringey backstage segments of high school drama quality. I'll give it a chance though, as I'm a complete sucker for SNME.
