The 2 questions were always 1) would the new deal be higher than their existing deal, and 2) will the new deal make the company profitable
Fake journalists like Meltzer and SRS won't do their jobs, so we'll never know if there were profitable-level deals offered by entities other than WBD months ago. And they likely also won't tell the truth about whatever deal gets signed in the next few weeks, though unluckily for them, WBD is a publicly-traded company and will be compelled to release details.
