We used to get at least one gimmick match a night.

We used to get at least one t&a segment a night.

I miss tables matches, cage matches, hardcore matches, 6 man tags, bra and panties, lingerie matches, HLA matches...

I miss the FUN midcard acts like Val Venis, Godfather, Right to Censor, The Headbangerz, Taka & Funaki, Tajiri, Tazz, Regal, Christian...

I miss the violence and the sleaze.

WWE isn’t a passion project for anyone at any level of the company, it was only that for Vince and it stopped being an actual passion for HIM sometime in the mid 00s as he had no more real competition.

Wrestling just doesnt have that cool aura it had from the late 90s to the 2000s, along with a lot of other things. HD and modernizing turned out to burden wrestling in the end, ruining the appeal it once had for people

2002 is a really good year for WWE, honestly. I know the Attitude Era had ended but the presentation is on point, SmackDown is consistently excellent, Raw has some true fucking dogshit moments I'll grant you but there's some good too.
