I remember that and Taz/Sabu match bringing that show to a screeching halt. On future rewatches the Douglas match only gets bad half way through.

I remember watching ECW when it was still underground and one of The Pitbulls had his head incased in one of those steel cages to protect his neck and head from moving. And forget who, but they beat the shit out of him, swinging him around by that contraption bolted to his head. It was fucking gnarly.

As a kid I thought, prowrestling is fake, but ECW is F'N REAL!
