It takes time to establish this shit and you don't go out blazing with your big storylines when you have a limited audience. There are stories there but they're low key and developing slowly. Bigger storylines will develop organically.
He's probably still feeling out talent since he's working with the talent he's got and not the talent he wanted.

Seems like it would have been smart to develop storylines out of SUmmer Destiny when everyone was watching for Iyo Sky.

Current main Marigold story is an old man desperate for attention risking his retirement on an alcoholic who doesn't want to work so now he's pivoting to making Mai Sakurai his ace.

I haven't had much time to watch since Summer Destiny but that's disappointing to hear.
I'm willing to give him quite a bit of lee-way though. This isn't like starting AEW. Hell, it's not even like starting Stardom given the market is a lot more saturated than when he started that due to Stardom.
It's his own fault though. He could still have a job in Stardom if he wasn't so hellbent on starting another in violation of his employment conditions.

Post SD the only thing was Kouki/Miku but it was because they always wanted to fight in AWG (ignore that they fought singles multiple times in AWG, Rossy didn't watch), but the match was bad. Also Mirai/Mai won the tag title and people left the arena before the match was over so they could get in line for photos.

Big thing now is the tournament, but Rossy dropped the ball and made the first show a generic house show instead of going all out so it doesn't feel special. And he did back to back shows so all the matches on the first show were really short.
