Matt said "no turn it into a podcast, I'll help you" and seeing as he's chaperoning Taker and BSK for years already, Taker said sure.
That's why he's always joking about not showing up for the next recording session.
I don't mind the guy, Matt's not an obvious fit for the podcast but when you consider the fact Taker's not motivated to make it a high energy production, Matt's slow smooth speaking pattern fits the show.
It's obvious however that the biggest draw by far is having Taker shoot the breeze with other wrestlers.
