What did you guys think of him during that time? Everyone I knew (even family like my uncle) absolutely hated him and got worked by a lanky pretty boy who was able to hang with the best in the ring & was put on the map by Mick Foley. He had a charm to his promos & could be endearing at times (his interaction with Rock). I thought he looked badass and had a lite average look to him in comparison to how big everyone else look, which made him sort of relatable. He had a cool edge to him that the others WWE pushed lacked (you can tell he had a darkness to him internally & luckily he got help in later years). Seeing him be bro tier in recent years, big leaguing Court Bauer, & being somewhat of a shitposter made me love the guy even more. Low key /ourguy/ and a cool autist who over achieved.
