I don't know, honestly. He's certainly better in the ring than the other twinks (not flipping helps) and he's a likable guy offscreen but it just doesn't translate into TV charisma. I think being so skinny is what's holding him back.

perry was over as a nepo kid with a funny hairstyle in a midcard babyface tag team. but when they first turned him heel it was awful, not even AEW smarks bought it. but all he needed is for the to give them a reason to like him and running off punk was exactly that
