Her entire psyche assumes that she's an underdog, a woman kept down by the evil system who has to work extra hard to get to the same space and thus deserves 100x the credit.
If she's in the main event, she's not an underdog anymore, and the first sign of criticism becomes a knife stab straight into her heart, because everyone's keeping Rhea down.
If however everything's going well, as it is right now, Rhea is not being kept down by other people and her psyche no longer functions the way it used to.
Instead of facing internal problems and perhaps traumas, or the braindead ideology she subscribed to, she starts to create drama and manufacture outrage in order to establish a new way for her to be the underdog, typically at other people's expense, and she enjoys abusing other people in the process.
That's textbook narcissism.
