It's the difference between an actor doing an indie drama and getting to spread their wings as an artist or them being in a Marvel movie and doing a lot of posing ad pretending to fire energy rays from their hands while most of the work is done by CGI.
Nothing wrong with the MCU, it's fun in a turn your brain off kind of way, but there's a reason you're not getting Oscar winning performances coming out of it.
