It's just a vehicle for Luchasaurus to finally chokeslam him and cost him the title. Then he'll be gone for a while and come back with Copeland (it'll be easier to have them reconcile off screen than to turn Christian face on TV at this point) to beat the Bucks for the tag title and end "The Elite" so that Okada can do his own thing and Jack can reunite with his dinosaur. I love Christian in his current role, but I don't see the thing with Luchasaurus being stretched out too much longer or Christian winning the title, sadly.

Christian needs to win the AEW World title. He would be the only man to win world titles in WWE, AEW, TNA, & WWECW. Hell, even just the first three no one else has ever or likely will ever accomplish. No way Tony lets him get away without cementing his legacy as the GOAT of the 2000s.

Well that's ok, I just realized there's still time for Lashley to grab the brass ring and complete the world title quads. He never won the NWA belt in TNA like Xian did, but unlike Xian he won the WWE title rather than Big Gold so it evens out. Lashley can be AEW's Brock for a few years.

He absolutely deserves it, but the timing is fucked now. It smells like an angle, especially with his "Next AEW Champion" clipboard. The time for Christian to win the title was at Worlds End last December (instead of Joe), and he should have dropped it to Ospreay at Wembley.

wrong adam turned heel with the brood shit, they put that story completely on ice instead of writing it off so i think it is still in play, plus killswitch turning back into luchasauraus is a babyface turn, not a heel turn. The fans want luchasauraus to break christians spell so it wouldn't make sense for the heel to get his then become a good guy
