For example, you still have to wear your opponents down. You can't just hit them with a Burning Hammer 10 seconds into the match -- it will get reversed every time.
In KoC, you need to build up to bigger moves by using smaller moves first. Typically, Square is your weakest grapple, then X, then O, and then Triangle in that order, the double button moves being the highest tier.
It's one of the reasons I like the game so much. You have to go about it reasonably in a realistic way, like you're actually a wrestler in a match. You have to wear your opponent down, whereas in a game like Wrestle Kingdom, you just spam heavy grapples repeatedly from the start of the match which is less cool to me.
