Kayfabe premise of the buckshot is gravity is giving you more speed. If your opponent isn't in precisely the right position, you end up stepping forward which fucks it all up. The arm has to be thrown immediately as you land or it's just a plain clothesline but he flipped over before doing it, wow.
Page needs to do the rope flip a few hundred times in a gym, with varied rope tension settings, to know exactly how far into the ring he's going to land. Then when he's actually having the match in the ring, he can call the distance in advance of the spot so his opponent will be right where he needs to be.
But because he's a dumb retard substitute teacher, he won't commit to making his finish actually look like a finish.
