Which is why some fans double down on the, "this is why I prefer wrestling that focuses on stories!" The wrestling sucks so they need stories to add stakes to what otherwise would be a boring affair, and they assume all wrestling must be as boring as the matches they watch.
Not only assume; they insist on it. If you do anything different, they accuse you of being a mudshow and nitpick the shit out of what they saw because it wasn't done The One True WWE Way.
I'm glad we've got alternatives now.
