You see, a theater play also aims to give the audience immersiveness and realism (of course depending on the genre). If modern AEW shit would be compared to a theater play it would be the equivalent of the actors fumbling their lines, not reading their manuscript, the director is poor at directing, the actors break the 4th wall every now amd then and so all. It would be a piss poor performance, so why isn't pro wrestling held to the same standards whether you want to define it as "simulated fight sport" or "live theater play soap opera"?
