>>15891478Vince was taking out newspaper ads in the New York Post in the 90s crying about Phil Mushnick exposing the sordid goings in WWF at the time with the ringboys scandal/drugs/steroid culture etc.
Vince also used to take out newspaper ads in Turner owned publications and national newspapers whining and bitching about Ted Turner trying to outprice him in the wrestling marketplace (Sound familiar?) and accusing Turner of financial mismanagement of his shareholder's money to pursue a personal vendetta against him, because Vince is very important you see and totally on Ted Turner's level.
He's never changed. This is a desperation move, this doc must be scathing bad, and yes all he has done here is Steisand effect it now as must see if peoiple are seeing he is jumping this far out ahead with this hopeless, defeated level of damage control.
If I was the Netflix PR department I'd be pushing this press release HARD all this week to bolster the doc as "The hard hitting Truth Vince McMahon doesn't want you to see, etc"
I really wish they weren't dropping all 6 hrs of it on the same day tho. Week by week standard release would have been better for this. Give people 6/7 whole days to discourse each episode individually, keep discussion of teh series active and ongoing for weeks and weeks at a time. Get 2 months or more exposure out of it.
