This is literally the PPV where I was the closest to thinking WWE was about to die.
That's how bad the attendance was for that show/.
That was the show with the gigatarp and Corbin being awed at how few fans were in the building.

It was just tone-deaf Vince schizo booking weird shit during the time period that AEW was exploding in popularity. Seth was babyface champion and his run was hamstrung by them booking Becky with him and then the culmination was putting him against the Fiend in the most bizarre and hated match of the past 5 years. I don't think it was really that bad in terms of WWE output but the crowds were very unenthusiastic and depressing

It was the culmination of Vince's dementia schizo shit. Shit like the Wyatt/Seth HiaC that ended in a no contest. Tarping Grounds. Corbin retiring Angle. The weird angle where a mystery person attacked Roman and it was Rowan except it wasn't Rowan but somebody who looked like him and this was never elaborated on. Might have been the start of Rowan's cage gimmick. Usos filming and mocking the Revival in the shower. Lio Rush as Lashley's manager. Rusev/Lana/Lashley cuck angle.

It's basically the entire reason AEW exists and has such weird cultish troon fans. It was so bad that people were begging for an alternative.
