Every wrestling fan I’ve ever known in my life has thought it was real. I can’t tell you how many times I had to keep quiet and not be rude when someone discussed a storyline or character like it was real. I’ve seen full grown adults wearing some vintage Wrestlemania shirts and when I compliment them, they go off about how Roman Reigns is such an asshole or whatever.
