You're supposed to know what happens and when as a referee and clearly, this guy was working against the two guys he was meant to be working with.
The arguments and frustration of wrestlers with refs is meant to be fake. If it's real, there's a reason -- somebody is fucking up.

The ref is part of the match. If you don't like how the guys set up the match with you, then don't ref the match. Anyway this guy's been fired I think so it's a moot point.
