He doesn't look like someone that I'd be scared to mess with in a bar. He looks gormless, his face doesn't scream "badass" and his technical wrestling isn't as good as the high watermarks of the business. If you're going to be marketing yourself as a technical guy you have to be at least as good as WCW Dean Malenko.

They're trying to replicate Daniel Bryan WWE underdog status but the idea behind that was him being held down despite being really good. We wanted DB to be given opportunities to be good. Daniel Garcia isn't really good, so his underdog status comes from things like "Christian/MJF are so mean, I must shut them up" which... who cares if he does? Any victories he gets feel entirely because a superior worker is going "Yeah Tony I'll do you a favour and job to him."

Normally I'd agree but last night he cut a pretty solid promo. Surprisingly charismatic from him. He's over with people too which is the part I don't get. He's just someone I have zero interest in seeing. Maybe it's his look? He's boring as hell to me though and AEW has way better options who aren't the ratings cancer that he is

I've seen videos of him outside the ring and he actually does have charisma, quite funny, gets invited to cookouts and probably even has an N-word pass with certain talent, but none of it translates to TV.
