AEW has these stip matches on constantly for no good reason so they don't mean anything, worse again it was unsanctioned but they provide music, lighting, commentary, referees, a cage, advertising, etc. It's completely retarded right away. The angle was that both guys committed crimes on TV and aew did nothing about it at all. Fucking stupid.
The pace of the match was shit and the spots they chose weren't meaningful in anyway way. It was just some random shit, as usual. I blame the company and their contrarian culture more than the guys involved - though Hangman is a major contributor to that bullshit culture backstage, foundationally.
