In reality, it just made Jack Perry look like a little bitch, and proved Tony Khan's "I was scared for my life" line was just overly dramatic bullshit so he could fire Punk without paying off the rest of his contract.

The IWC completely lost it with this one. The Bucks were just heeling it up and it was used as a way explain the whole scapegoat thing and add a bit of heat to Bucks vs FTR. I think like half an hour later FTR came out and said they were done with this shit and wanting to put it to bed for good

I remember a few days before Punk was on commentary and genuinely sounded quite flustered and was probably sweating the reaction to the footage and then it came out and as everyone is pretty much pro-WWE now (even though he was acting like an unhinged hair-pulling bitch) he came out of it smelling like roses. The whole thing reminds me of that Homelander bit where he kills the guy who throws something at his son and all the chuds cheer. If Punk wasn't in WWE and he pulled that shit he would have got absolutely clowned and if you don't think that's true then I'm sorry but you're absolutely deluded. Drones were calling him a cancer and laughing at how unhinged he was with his outbursts.. Until he rejoined WWE and they did a complete 180 on him.
