It's shoot the worst major promotion of all time and I say that as someone who was hopeful in 2019.
Kenny, Bucks, Cody, and Jericho never had an actual vision in mind for a wrestling alternative they just saw an opportunity to make easy money and took it.
AEW can't be considered a legit promotion, it's more of an elaborate scheme by the elite to scam an autistic mark out of millions from his trust fund, its like those NFT scams or alpha male courses.

AEW is watched almost exclusively by bitter ex-edrones/black and gold nxt loving faggots who needed an alternative despite alternatives already existing in numerousness but they're dog shit eating mongoloids so they NEEDED a big budget nationally televised alternative that wasn't TNA because Meltzer told them it was bad already and it was poisoned to them in advance so when AEW came along carrying anti-WWE sentiment they latched on and admitting fault now would be admitting defeat directly to WWE which they hatewatched for years
