>>16054564This is so disrespectful to the business and it's shitty as fuck. There's so many ways this could've been done in kayfabe. The referee could've just look at them and say no count and point at the shoulders. She could've then proceeded to do a proper pin and the opponent could've tried kicking and shaking out of the pin but kicks out at 3.1.
This would've just elevated the mishap becaus, imagine you getting hit by a finisher but your opponent made a slight mistake and the pin attempt gets delayed. You start to recover from the finisher realizing: "hey the match isn't over, I may have a chance to kick out!". Of course, you'd lose because the script says so but you saved the situation. The opponent wins but maybe shakes his head being disappointed in himself for doing such a rookie mistake. He practiced time and time again in wrestling to make a basic pin: "I need to improve I can't make shitty mistakes like this if I want to climb to the top!"
All this could've been conveyed in the span of 10-20 seconds. But no, let's just let the referee assist the wrestler in getting pinned properly. Imagine a hockey referee giving the the puck a light thud in the right direction, ensuring that the team scores because the goalie almost saves it. They'd disqualify that referee and redo the score. In kayfabe the referee in the webm should be suspended.
But who am I to complain. Everything is great and wonderful according to TK and I'm just a random subhumam chud wrestling hater posting in a mongolian basket weaving board. I should pay my bills and mortgage and get shitfaced on tequila and groom my trans kid and just enjoy wrestling in the state it is without any criticism at all. It's all perfect amd joyful
