This pissed me off.

Cody's not British nor has he ever lived in the UK. Why would he be advocating for them to get it?

I also think Wrestlemania should be a US only event, especially nowadays when so many WWE PPV's are not held in the US. We're the ones who keep this promotion afloat. Britain can't even keep a TNA level promotion running.

Its clearly going to happen but I assume the main issue is that WWE want London to pay but London does not need the boost whatsoever whereas smaller cities like Cardiff and Perth will benefit from the deal. Also it means shitters like Dunne and Tyler Bate getting on the card.

I imagine they want to do Wembley just so they can sell it out on back to back days and thumb their nose at AEW. It could be the one exception to taking a big cheque from a city to run a show. But if Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool etc. come in with a bigger offer who knows.

I doubt they have an stadium that could handle the logistics for a WrestleMania. They also wouldn't be able to handle security, WWE would have to fly and hire their own private security.
