>>16080729I'm pretty happy with the state of the biz right now. WWE is the best it's ever been since I started watching it in 2005. They've gotten so much better since HHH took over. It's gonna go up another level once they get on Netflix next year. WWE will be mainstream again in a way it hasn't been since the late 90's. And the bucket load of talent they have in NXT only ensures that their recent success will only continue.
Even though interest in AEW has waned over the past two years I think 2024 has been an improvement over 2022 and 2023. They still put on great matches and their PPVs are always good. The main thing holding them back is their bloated roster. Outside of a handful of guys, there's so many people in that company that rarely get featured on TV. But staying in business for 5 years is a major accomplishment that is good for the business. They will also benefit from their new streaming deal.
