There are still a few guys left that can work a believable style, but they are the exceptions and they're undercut constantly by crappy commentary and crappy presentation that shoves it in the viewer's face that this shit isn't real. Yeah we know. We've known since the 70s. But work believably and treat it believably and the people will suspend their disbelief and buy into the show. It's the same with television and film. Wrestling is shit now because everything looks, and is treated, as fake as possible. Of course no one fucking cares outside of the niche wrestling audience.
