Taker was having great matches in the mid 90s including the Buried Alive match with Mankind, the Final Four Battle Royal with Austin, Vader, Bret, and Mankind, and of course the Hell in a Cell match with HBK that is often cited as one of the best matches ever. Taker worked a slow, plodding style from his WWF debut until around 1996, but that was the gimmick. He proved he was capable of so much more in 1996 and beyond.
That said, Undertaker's first good match was way back in 1991 against Tito Santana. Here it is for anyone that wants to watch it. It was at a special event in Spain.
