And no, Rossy never tried to kill Stardom. He made that promotion. Bushiroad went above him, started booking shows, and put too many tor dates up which led to the audience being burned out and players being injured.
People on the roster weren't happy and that's why the exodus happened. Rossy was talked into starting a new promotion.
