Antonio Honda's schtick can get repetitive, but when you learn to appreciate it you will find yourself amused over how he finds new ways to do the same old thing for each match.
Kazuki Hirata had flat out the best comedy match I have ever scene when he faced NJPW'S Hiromu Takahashi at Ultimate Party last year. It was an absolute wild ride of will he/won't he twists and turns as Hirata desperately tried to get Hiromu to play along with his gimmick, and Hiromu playing against his own character to subvert the audiences dedication.
Chris Brookes won me over during the empty arena era when he self produced a series of surrealist shows under the Chris Brookes Presents banner. His Baka Gaijin+ shows he does now are okay, but they lacked the setting that empty venues provided for him to really go off the rails.
