I am a big fan of the show NXT. I watched it live every week when it was on USA Network. When it was announced the show would be moving to CW, I bought an antenna and was all set to begin watching it over the air on my local station, WCYB. Unfortunately, the last couple of weeks have featured major problems when it comes to advertising during the show.
There were times during last week's broadcast, 10/15, including during the main event match of the show, where advertisements were inserted not during commercial breaks, but over the actual content of the show. Because of this I was not able to view the entire main event.
If it had been a one off, that would be one thing, but this week, about halfway into the show at around 9:00, the same thing happened. The show had just come back from an actual scheduled commercial break, and a match began. And it wasn't long into the match before another bunch of commercials was inserted. They seemed to be mostly Nissan commercialsif that means anything. I missed a very large portion of the match because of this, and I was so frustrated I just turned the show off.
Needless to say this is completely unacceptable. I have always watched NXT live on Tuesday nights, and I would prefer to watch the show on your network. But if this frustration continues I'll have to settle for watching it the next day on the CW app. I hope that this issue will be addressed in future weeks, because it really is my favorite show and it's something I look forward to every week.
